SAVE THE DATE: We happy to announce that we will hold the 2nd Annual Thanksgiving FEASTival on Tuesday, November 22 from 12:00-4:00pm at Seasons Four (1265 Mass. Ave). Please check with your favorite vendor to see if they'll be there.

There are only three more markets left- the last regularly scheduled market will be October 25th, from 2:00-6:00pm.

Lexington Historical Society fundraiser to benefit Munroe Tavern: Have you noticed the renovation of Munroe Tavern on Mass. Ave.? You can support these changes to this historical building here in Lexington next month. The Lexington Historical Society wil be selilng raffle tickets for each of 6 chairs that have been painted by local artists and that are on display in Lexington Center. To participate, you can buy a ticket for $10 per chair. The second part of this fundraiser is a Gala on November 19th, 6-8 PM at the Depot in Lexington Center. The cost is $50 per person, and the winners of the raffles will be announced, accompanied by an evening of jazz, tasty appetizers, wine, live auction and an opportunity to meet the artists.All proceeds of these events will be go the restoration of Munroe Tavern. Communities Without Borders: Maria Haynes of Communities Without Borders will be on hand to talk about this group's goal to educate AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children, primarily in Africa, in order to nourish hope for a better future for them, society and the world. Their approach fosters building ongoing community to community relationships at the grassroots level in order to increase the quality educational opportunities for these children.

Kids Cooking Green: Kids Cooking Green classes have begun in Lexington at Estabrook, Bridge and Hastings Schools. These classes are full and off to a great start. Kids Cooking Classes are now registering in Bedford, Wilmington and Arlington. If you are a kid aged 7-12 and are interested in joining one of these classes please contact us at Kids Cooking Green! Registration is through the recreation department at each of their respective towns.
